Anyone wanting to get close to nature or looking for a taste of adventure will find plenty of opportunities on the stunningly beautiful Island of Guernsey.

Outdoor Guernsey's qualified activity instructors possess a wealth of experience of Guernsey's coastal environment and can provide an exciting range of activities.

Kayaking is a fantastic way of exploring the coast and every bay, beach, inlet and island around Guernsey. The cliffs offer breathtaking climbing and abseiling, while the coastline provides awesome and some of the very best coasteering in the UK.

Outdoor Guernsey operate regular 2 and 3 hour sea kayak and coasteering explorations around the coast all year round. At weekends and holidays we have Kids Kayak clubs and School Holiday Adventure days as well as British Canoe Union kayak training. We also offer multi activity packages suitable for corporate groups or stag and hen parties, plus a wide range of birthday party options including archery, climbing, crate stacking, raft building, and kayaking.

Absolutely no prior knowledge or experience is needed for most of our activities and we can provide all the equipment. Simply book yourself on to one of our regular explorations or get a group together and try something different! You will have plenty to talk about afterwards.

TOTAL ACCESSIBILITY

We believe in total accessability to our activities for all, including participants with special needs. All our activities can be adapted for corporate or social events, teambuilding or parties. We are always happy to discuss your exact requirements please just contact us.

How do I join a kayak or coasteering exploration?

Check the Calendar page on our website. You will find all our kayak explorations, coasteering trips, puffin patrols, and dates of Herm kayak hire are listed in the calendar.  Choose a date and time and contact us to book.  We will then make all the necessary arrangements with you.

What about the weather?


Explorations will only go ahead in suitable conditions. Light rain or showers will not usually prevent the trip but hgh winds will effect the sea conditions and we will not go ahead with any activity unless conditions and forecast are good.  We will usually make the decision the day before.  You will be asked to phone us to confirm that the exploration is going ahead. 

How do I pay?

If you have booked on to one of our regular kayak or coasteering explorations or puffin patrol  the instructor  will collect payment when you arrive at the venue on the day.  Private group bookings will be sent a booking form and asked to pay a deposit to confirm the booking with full payment due before the activity date.

Where will we be going from?


We will normally choose the venue the day before once we have a reliable weather forecast, as we like to run them from the venue with the best conditions on the day to give you the best experience.  You will be asked to contact us to find out the daily venue and meeting place.

 

We can sometimes accomadate requests for specific venues for private bookings but you may have to be flexible on dates.  Call us for more information.
