Outdoor Guernsey

Properly organised teambuilding activities can be hugely beneficial to any business. The benefits are well known and good team building will raise individual self-esteem and self-confidence.  It can greatly improve individual, team and organisational performance as well as Improve trust, communication and relationships and therefore overall team functioning.

Our teambuilding activities provide relevant, lasting and practical learning and break down barriers to everyone, whatever their age, level of physical ability or position within the organisation.

Outdoor Guernsey’s latest venue for teambuilding and team challenges is The Farmhouse hotel in

Guernsey. The Farmhouse has large outdoor areas suitable for small and medium sized groups.  Our building better teams programme can be hosted in superb indoor conference rooms with the outdoor tasks taking place in the beautiful gardens. There is plenty of space for our energetic Team challenges and the excellent facilities at the hotel for dining and entertaining complement the day and will enhance the experience for your staff or clients.

This is a popular format for teams or sections of between 12 and 160 people and works well both inside or outside.  Herm is a fabulous outdoor venue while Les Maingys activity centre is a great option for when the weather is un reliable.

The group will be split into a number of smaller teams and compete against each other in a number of tasks and group puzzles.  Some tasks are team vs team others are individual team events.

The activities selected will be appropriate to your group but will be suitable for all abilities as each activity is designed to encourage participation on many different levels. 

All events are scored and we will declare a winning team at the end of the event.

This format generally lasts 2 or 3 hours and costs £28 to £38 per person

This teambuilding option is suited to smaller groups or teams wishing to focus more on how teams work and individual roles within the team. We will probe deeper into the theory of teamwork and explore and develop understanding of individual roles and responsibilities and how teams  can be influenced and effected by our  behavior and methods. 

Activities will be chosen from our portfolio but will be low impact tasks that can be delivered indoors or outdoors at a venue of your choice

Some examples are:

Lost at sea

Individual exercise expanding to a group exercise. A scenario is introduced and the team are given a number of items, the must collectively choose the most useful to take with them.  Introduces roles within the group, involves communication and negotiation.

White Water

The team must use the equipment to cross the simulated raging torrent. Teamwork and planning are key.

Tower of Hanoi

A mental, matemtical problem involving working out a sequence to move a pyramid. Highlights team roles.

Half or full day or part of a multi day residential.
