School holiday activities for young adventurers! Our days will be filled with learning new skills, trying new activities, exploring and most importantly having fun doing it!
During the Easter and Summer school holidays our Adventure Days program offers full days of kayaking, climbing, mini coasteering, abseiling, team games, archery and geocaching as well as exploring our wonderful island environment.
ADVENTURE DAYS
Fun and challenging activities in a landscape full of wildlife and history will be of great benefit to any child and our experienced instructors and leaders will make sure that all young adventurers gain the most they can from their time with us safely and enjoyably.
Adventure Days are open to anyone from 8 to 13. Monday to Friday (9am to 3.45pm) Lunchtime supervision is included, drinks and all specialist equipment for the activities will be provided as well transportation to the venues. Our base is the North Youth centre, La Moye in the Vale.

Ant Ford Parker Activities Director Qualifications: Accredited Practitioner of the institute of Outdoor Learning, BCU SL3 Kayak Coach, SPA Climbing Instructor, RLSS Beach Lifeguard, ERAS, NRASTC, GNAS archery leader, NEEBOSH L3 cert in Occupational Health and Safety, NVQ in Youth Work, Duke of Edinburgh Award Gold Assessor It is my role to develop and deliver, with the help of the other instructional staff here at Outdoor Guernsey, a program of high quality activities both adventurous and stimulating. My passion is promoting learning in the outdoors and all things wonderful about our environment. Under our guidance you can expect your child to be encouraged to discover all kinds of things for themselves and share what they know already! All our activities are designed to be as inclusive as possible, and all our staff understand the value of keeping young people and their parents informed and involved, we look forward to meeting you all.

Qualifications: BA (Hons) Theatre Arts, Education and Deaf Studies.
After finishing my degree I worked for a year at Le Rondin School. I hold post-graduate certificate in Education, and also work as a Primary school teacher.
Prior to joining the team at Outdoor Guernsey I was fortunate to gain seven years experience working with children throughout the school holidays. Whilst there I was in-charge of co-ordinating the activities for primary aged children and responsible for managing my assistant staff.
I lead an active social life with interests including: sports, (coaching and watching), walking, the arts, signing (BSL) and history.
I am delighted to be a member of the Outdoor Guernsey team and look forward to meeting you and welcoming your children.
