Outdoor Guernsey

Outdoor Guernsey are now able to offer a number of activities on the  beautiful Island of Herm.

HIRE KAYAKS direct from Shell Beach. Subject to terms and conditions, and in a safe tidal area, just turn up to experience a unique view of this magical island and have great fun doing it!

Hire kayaks start Sunday 30 May from 10am and continue for half term week (weather permitting, call us to confirm)

All times of Herm hire are available on the Calendar.

PUFFIN PATROLS  We also have a number of dates suitable for guided kayak Puffin patrols along the same format as our Guernsey explorations.  kayaks are the ideal way to unobtrusivly observe Herms tiny iconic visitors, prebooking is essential on 267627.

ARCHERY Our range in Herm will be open on various days during the summer for individuals or groups to hire equipment and have a go!  larger groups are able to prebook for exclusive use and fun competitions and games

Single seat Ocean Caper Sit on top £10 per hour
Double seat Ocean Malibu 2 £15 per hour

Group rates available if pre booked.

Hire is inclusive of bouyancy aid and all equipment. Hire is only possible at certain states of tide, (see the calendar) hire is subject to strict terms and conditions,included the wearing of certain safety equipment and staying within an identified safe zone.

A safety boat and operative is on duty during hire times.

To experience kayaking in other areas of Herm waters we recommend one of our guided kayak explorations

From April through June on certain dates we will be offering the chance to see Herms puffins totally unobtrusively.  Kayaks are the ideal eco friendly vehicle to observe wildlife behaving totally naturally and without threat to their environment.

Try your hand at archery during your stay in Herm at our new range on top of the hill. Equipment can be hired by the hour and an instructor will be on hand to give advice should you need it. The range will be open when we are unable to hire kayaks due to the tides.  The range will be available for private functions or group hire by arrangement.
